The Electric Coil Mac ECI-PLUS punches 4 X 5 mm oval holes that allow you to insert coil bindings faster and easier. The unit also has 54 disengageable dies which is great when binding odd size jobs. The Electric Coil Mac ECI-PLUS punches a lettersize hole pattern (.248'') that allows for easier alignment and coil inserting when using lettersize paper. The Electric Coil Mac ECI-PLUS offers manual punching of up to 20 sheets per punch. The time-saving Industrial-Grade Heavy Duty Electric Coil Inserter is foot-pedal controlled making inserting coil fast and easy. Easy to operate, just start the coil into the punched holes of the document. Place the coil against the roller, press the foot pedal and spin the coil into the document then crimp the ends of the coil. The unit allows you to coil bind books up to 12'' in length and up to 20mm or approximately 170 sheets in thickness. (larger coil up to 50mm or 2'' in thickness may be inserted by hand). Loaded with features--the margin depth control allows you to vary the distance the holes are punched from the edge of the paper which will enable the pages to turn easier. The disengageable dies make the unit ideal for punching letter and odd size paper documents. The open throat design and continuous punching guide allows for punching paper sheets longer than 12'' in length. The heavy duty metal construction of the Electric Coil Mac ECI-PLUS provides durability, reliability and is ideal for companies with a larger volume work load. Coil crimping pliers are included. The crimped coil aids in holding the covers and papers more securely.
