Wire Binding
 
Double Loop Wire Binding -- The premier choice in wire binding. This professional look allows books to lay flat and be turned 360°. Double loop wire is offered in a variety of colors. We stock black, white, and silver. Other colors can be special ordered. There are 2 different hole patterns with Double Loop Wire.
The standard and most popular is the wire binding machines that punch 32 holes (3:1) that allow you to bind from 1/4” to 9/16”.
Traditionally 2:1 wire bindings have come in sizes ranging from 5/8'' to 1 1/4''. Now there are a few manufacturers making 1/4'' through 9/16'' wire bindings in the 2:1 pattern. Wire Binding Machines that punch 21 holes (2:1) allow you to now bind 1/4” to 1 1/4” in thickness. Standard double loop wire is 32 (3:1) or 21 (2:1) loops for binding 11” in length. Custom lengths are available. Wire binding machines are available with manual or electric punch. Please add 1/8 " to the actual thickness of materials to be bound including covers to determine proper diameter.
